What Stretus is

Stretus is software. It is not a broker, not an investment adviser and not a portfolio manager, and it takes no part in anyone's decision to trade.

Stretus does not provide investment advice, brokerage services, or financial recommendations. It has no exchange membership, holds no client money and no shares, and makes no execution decisions. The customer's own order and risk systems decide those.

Stretus acts only as a technology provider.

Things we do not do, one by one

• We do not tell anyone what to buy or sell
• We do not make decisions on anyone's account
• We do not hold, receive or move client money or shares
• We do not connect to an exchange ourselves, and no order leaves except through the customer's own broker connection
• We do not promise any profit, any fill, or any level of uptime beyond what a signed agreement says

What our customers are responsible for

Customers remain responsible for regulatory compliance and for the decisions their own customers make. That is not our preference, it is what the rules say.

SEBI's circular of 4 February 2025 on retail algorithmic trading, extended by circular SEBI/HO/MIRSD/MIRSD-PoD/P/CIR/2025/132 of 30 September 2025, has applied to all stockbrokers since 1 April 2026. Under it, a company like ours is approved by the broker and treated as the broker's agent. NSE circular NSE/INVG/67858 of 5 May 2025 says brokers are fully responsible and liable for every order that leaves through their API systems.

So the customer is responsible for their own licences and registrations, for supervising their own users, for registering algorithms with the exchange where that is required, for their own pre-trade risk checks, and for any advice they or their staff give.

Your data

Customer data is not stored unless explicitly configured under deployment agreements. Where a customer runs Stretus on their own servers, the data stays there and they hold the keys.

Where we run it for them, what we handle, which country it sits in, how long it is kept and who can reach it are all set in the agreement rather than by default. The privacy policy explains who is legally in charge in each setup.

Everything on stretus.com is product information. It is not investment advice, an offer, or a solicitation. You are welcome to read it, quote it and share it with credit.

Whether any feature described here is available to you depends on your broker, the exchange, the account, the connection and how your setup is configured. Descriptions on this website are not promises, and a feature existing does not mean it is switched on and approved for live use in your case.

Nothing on this website or in the platform is a claim about investment returns. Backtests and simulations do not predict future results.

Live trading can turn out differently from a test because of charges, delays, slippage, thin markets, rejected orders, broker rules and market conditions. Trading and derivatives carry a risk of loss, including losing all the money allocated to them. Anything the AI produces needs to be reviewed by a person.

Where we name another company, it is only so you know which one we mean. It does not imply they endorse us, that we are partners, or that there is any relationship beyond a technical connection we have described.

Which document wins

A signed agreement between a customer and iMentus Technologies Private Limited takes priority over this page in every respect. These website terms can change, and a real change will carry a new date at the top.
