About Stretus
An enterprise software provider building infrastructure for financial institutions
Stretus is AI-native strategy infrastructure for broker-led markets, operated by iMentus Technologies Private Limited of Indore, India. This page states who is behind the platform, what we are and are not, and what a buyer can verify independently, because on a page like this, checkable beats impressive.
Software infrastructure only. No investment advice, no brokerage services, no guaranteed returns.

What Stretus is not
- Stretus is not a broker and holds no exchange membership of its own.
- Stretus is not an investment adviser and publishes no recommendations.
- Stretus is not a portfolio manager and holds no client funds or securities.
- Stretus does not make execution decisions, the broker's OMS and RMS remain authoritative.
Each of these is enforced by the architecture rather than promised as conduct, which is why they are stated before anything else.
Experience
iMentus Technologies Private Limited was incorporated in India on 29 April 2022 under CIN U72900MP2022PTC060683, and operates from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, with a further office in Austin, Texas. Every one of those facts is verifiable against a public register.
The experience that matters for this product is what has been built rather than how long the company has existed: enterprise software delivery across data engineering, AI systems and cloud platforms, and a trading platform with implemented broker adapters for Upstox, Zerodha, Angel One and Dhan, an NSE futures and options contract model, and a governed strategy lifecycle in production configuration.
We would rather state that plainly than characterise it. A buyer evaluating infrastructure can check an incorporation date and a CIN in two minutes, and a claim that survives that check is worth more than one that invites it.
Expertise
Fintech engineering, AI systems, algorithmic trading infrastructure, broker integrations and enterprise SaaS architecture, demonstrated through the design decisions the platform makes rather than asserted as a list.
Three of those decisions say more than a capability statement would. The platform refuses an unresolved derivative rather than substituting the cash underlying, because a plausible wrong answer is worse than a refusal. Its emergency F&O control fails closed if its own state cannot be verified, so ambiguity resolves toward blocking risk rather than permitting it. And AI interpretation is separated from deterministic validation, so a model can propose a strategy but cannot talk its way past a schema.
Each of those is a choice that costs something and buys correctness. They are the reason to take the engineering seriously, and they are checkable in the product rather than in a paragraph.
Trustworthiness
Self-hosted deployment so customer data need never leave the customer's estate; tenant isolation and role-based access; BYOK for AI providers; audited strategy and approval workflows; and a published statement of the certifications we do not hold.
Data handling depends on the customer's deployment configuration and contractual agreement. In a self-hosted deployment, customer data remains within the customer's own infrastructure and the customer holds the keys.
We hold no SOC 2 report and no ISO 27001 certification, we have no publishable third-party penetration test, and we are not going to give a date for any of them. That statement appears on the security page too. A security posture that claims everything tells a reviewer nothing, and the willingness to name a gap is the part that makes the rest of the document credible.
How we handle the things we do not know
We write them down as unknown. Where a claim on this site could not be verified against a primary source, the codebase carries a note naming the specific sentence and what would confirm it, and the sentence does not go live until it is confirmed.
That is a slower way to build a website and the only one that survives diligence. A buyer who finds one unverifiable claim reasonably discounts the rest of the page, so the cost of a convenient sentence is paid later and with interest.
One concrete example, since a principle stated without one is worth little: this page does not state a years-of-experience figure. The brief that commissioned it asked for one, no source exists for it, and it would have contradicted the incorporation date published in our own structured data. It is absent for that reason rather than by oversight.
Who we build for
Licensed and regulated organisations: stockbrokers and bank-owned brokerages, fintech and wealth platforms, financial institutions, and eligible verified SEBI-registered Research Analysts operating under broker governance.
We do not sell to individual traders directly, and the product is not designed for it. The strategy layer is adopted by an organisation that already holds the customer relationship and the regulatory obligations, and it is embedded inside that organisation's own journeys under its own brand.
That distinction shapes everything else about the product, the governance model, the deployment options, the audit surface, and it is the reason a page like this leads with the entity rather than with the features.

Benefits
Business benefits
One entity, named
The operating company, its CIN and its registered office are published rather than implied, which is what procurement needs to open a vendor record.
Boundaries stated up front
Not a broker, not an adviser, not a portfolio manager, no custody. Enforced by architecture rather than promised as policy.
Sources on regulatory claims
Circular number, date and a primary-source link on every regulatory statement across the site.
Gaps published
The certifications we do not hold are named, with no dates attached.
Security posture
Security considerations
- Customer data ownership
- Data handling depends on deployment configuration and contractual agreement. Self-hosted deployment keeps customer data inside the customer's own infrastructure.
- Audited workflows
- Strategy approvals, rejections, role activations and credential events are recorded as connected audit evidence.
Answers
Frequently asked questions
How long has the company existed?
iMentus Technologies Private Limited was incorporated on 29 April 2022, which can be checked against the Ministry of Corporate Affairs register under CIN U72900MP2022PTC060683. We publish the date rather than a characterisation of it, because a buyer can verify a date in two minutes and a characterisation invites the check without surviving it.
Do you name your team publicly?
Not yet, and that is a gap rather than a policy. A named engineer or founder with a verifiable history is a stronger trust signal for a technical buyer than any amount of company copy, and it is the single largest improvement still available on this page.
Who operates Stretus?
iMentus Technologies Private Limited, incorporated in India on 29 April 2022 under CIN U72900MP2022PTC060683, with a registered office in Indore, Madhya Pradesh and a further office in Austin, Texas.
Is Stretus regulated by SEBI?
Stretus is a technology provider, not a regulated intermediary. Under the algorithmic trading framework an algo provider is empanelled by the broker and treated as the broker's agent, and the broker carries responsibility for orders placed through its API systems. We make no claim about our own registration status.
How do we contact the team?
services@stretus.com for general enquiries, or Ritu Panchal at ritu.panchal@stretus.com for commercial conversations. If you would rather talk to an engineer than a salesperson about architecture or security, say so and we will arrange it.
Arrange a working demonstration
Review strategy creation, F&O contract handling, backtesting, broker controls and integration boundaries with the team. If you would rather talk to an engineer than a salesperson, say so and we will arrange that instead.
Risk and disclosure
Trading and derivatives involve risk of loss. AI output requires review. Backtests and simulations do not predict future results; live outcomes can differ because of costs, latency, slippage, liquidity, rejections, broker rules and market conditions. Availability varies by broker, exchange, account, connector and tenant. Product information only; not investment advice.
